Benkyo Box is a spaced repetition flashcard app designed to help you in your continuous learning journey.
When in line or a minute of free time, swipe through your flashcards in a simple and responsive interface.
Answers are hidden by default so that you can test yourself by scrolling lists, thinking the answer, and long-press to see if you got it right.
A spaced repetition algorithm schedules cards for study at an optimal time for retention. It'll notify you when cards are ready to study.
Whether sitting down reading a book, learning a list of concepts at work, or hearing a new, complicated character name at a fantasy show, it's easy to add new study material to Benkyo Box.
Take a photo of an object, book or piece of paper and use Benkyo Box to annotate and study these annotations.
Import a text file and Benkyo Box will find questions and answers for you. You can also import from CSV (which can link to images!) and image folders.
Organize your flashcards in folders and subfolders, or just leave them in the default "Unsorted" folder if that's what you prefer.
A familiar interface with a focus on simplicity and speed.
With a strong foundation and built for Apple® platforms, Benkyo Box currently supports features that we all expect in apps built for iPhone, iPad and in the future, Mac® (currently in development).
Benkyo Box is currently in beta and many more features and refinements are planned. Happy testing!
